Technology and logistics company eliminates costly middlemen, enables customers to order by the pallet

Los Angeles-based startup ePallet (www.epallet.com) will launch a new service this week that leverages artificial intelligence to help restaurant chains, franchises and other companies in the hospitality industry to get manufacturer-direct deals. ePallet enables buyers to get all of their information in one place and get real-time delivered pricing. ePallet customers can save a great deal of money on thousands of products by cutting out the middlemen. For small chains, franchise owners and operations that use a central commissary or kitchen, ePallet looks to save them up to 40 percent on one of their biggest costs.

ePallet makes it easy and efficient to buy and sell wholesale food and products by the pallet. “Everyone deserves access to quality, affordable products, but the supply chain is broken,” related James Kwon, ePallet CEO. “There are too many middlemen adding costs from when the products are ordered to when it’s delivered. In total, a typical buyer of pallet quantities of food or other merchandise often pay up to 40 percent markup through traditional channels. We think that in the modern age, there should be a much more efficient way to do business.”
